ABOUT FELIX DRACHENBERG

Sustainability professional with over three years of experience at a leading consulting firm. I am a purpose-driven individual with a strong focus on creating long-lasting impact on the global economy by supporting companies in embedding ESG data into strategic decision-making. My work centers on enhancing corporate resilience and enabling a shift from pure risk mitigation towards long-term value creation.My core areas of expertise include quantifying ESG KPIs and contextualising them for specific clients and sectors, integrating ESG factors into enterprise risk management systems, and designing information flow processes that enable more effective and reliable data handling across organisations. I also support companies in moving beyond regulatory compliance including CSRD, and EUDR, towards informed, forward-looking strategic decision-making. In parallel, I am actively involved in setting up future biodiversity-related services to assess and manage nature-related risks and opportunities.I deeply enjoy working in sustainability because of its breadth and depth. It spans effective reporting, risk management, data architecture, and strategic planning, but also extends to analysing global supply chains to identify high-risk exposures and supporting communities that are disproportionately affected by environmental risks. In many cases, the regions with the highest environmental exposure are also among the poorest, a reality that makes sustainability work both complex and deeply meaningful.
