ABOUT FELIX ANTHONJ
I am a German post-exit entrepreneur, investor, and property developer, now primarily operating from Cape Town, South Africa.I founded Flexperto in 2012 during my business studies, a B2B SaaS company focused on digital customer engagement for regulated industries. Over the years, I scaled the business to more than 100 enterprise clients across the DACH region, with a strong focus on insurers and banks, as well as blue-chip brands such as Deutsche Telekom and Mercedes-Benz.In 2021, Flexperto was acquired by RGI Group, a European insurance software leader. Following the acquisition, I worked closely with CVC Capital on M&A and buy-and-build strategies in the SaaS market. In 2024, I founded Project Y, a German–South African platform focused on unlocking South African talent, building high-quality teams for international employers. I have also launched a talent fund with other investors and family offices to explore innovative financing models for disadvantaged youth and ramped up an Academy to train young South Africans for various in-demand roles.I believe borders should no longer limit access to talent, and that South Africa is one of the most attractive markets for global employers to build and scale exceptional teams.In parallel, I am increasingly focused on luxury residential property development in Cape Town. A recent example is San Junipero, the development of four exclusive villas in Camps Bay.Alongside my own companies, I advise selected startups, mentor disadvantaged youth, and have served as an advisory board member to a major German regional bank. I also hosted various conferences such as \"Digisurance\" and have moderated and spoken at numerous conferences across Europe and the United States.Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, trail running, hiking, and kite-surfing.
