About Felipe Santander
Throughout my career, my projects have centered on honoring both the surrounding natural and cultural environments. Part of that emphasis comes from my background in sustainable design and ecological architecture. In 2011, I moved from my hometown of Santiago, Chile to San Francisco, California, where I studied permaculture and urban farming. The principles of permaculture further deepened the unique approach I bring to architecture. Sustainability and responsive design are the soul of my residential projects. By collaborating side-by-side with clients, I aim to seamlessly integrate human and natural habitats.I’ve since relocated to Asheville, North Carolina, where I get to experience and enjoy the rich biodiversity of the Appalachian Mountains. Through the combination of modern architecture with traditional craftsmanship, I’ve been designing energy-efficient homes, integrating sustainable solutions and creating inspiring living spaces that honor their surrounding landscapes.
