ABOUT FELIPE MAXIMIANO AMORIM

A professional with 10 years of experience working in the data center industry ensuring reliable and resilient mission-critical facilities operations. Part of my daily activities is to manage projects and build-outs that are needed to expand and improve the physical infrastructure of the data centers.My main goal as a Data Centre Infrastructure Manager is to ensure a 100% uptime on the data centers with a simple, concise, and clear approach to the various challenges that a mission-critical environment presents.Two of the most successful and complex projects I have worked on were two data center rooms expansion, each room of approximately 6500 square ft. The projects consisted of expanding, interconnecting, and commissioning new infrastructure components, such as UPSs, high and low-voltage panels, generators, chillers, cooling units, and life-safety components with the ones in a data center already in production, with no impact to customers and in a tight timeframe.Some of my core competencies are PMP, project management, leadership, communications, data center infrastructure, facilities operations, critical operations, extensive understanding of data center topology, generators, UPS, cooling systems, chillers, condenser, CRAC, and CRAH units, AutoCAD, IT hardware installation, and asset management.
