About Felipe Cuevas
Since his early childhood, Chilean born and Miami-based photographer Felipe Cuevas uncovered that he could capture unforgettable moments with his camera. His first subjects were landscapes and people; images captured during his travels throughout South America. But later, his passion for food and the culinary arts lead him to some of the top chefs in the country and sparked his interest for food photography. His images have been featured in magazines, digital media and books, and his themed collections have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. As a photographer for Univision for the past 15 years, Felipe has also captured the heart and soul of some of the most famous Latin and international stars and world famous athletes, making his celebrity images renown in newspapers and magazines around the world. Most recently, Felipe was honored with a “Tribute to Music” exposition during the 2011 Latin Grammys live show in Las Vegas, where his iconic photographs of Latin Grammy winners from Celia Cruz to Ricky Martin lined the red carpet outside the venue.
