About Felicity Emerson

I am a board certified genetic counselor working as a Genetic Counselor at Northwell Health with a focus on metabolic conditions and prenatal genetics. I also work part-time as Scientific Director at ALD Connect, where I strive to advance research and resources for individuals with X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy. My background is in genomics and chromatin research, and I completed a Ph.D. at Cornell University in 2023 studying the link between aging and chromatin biology in the model organism C. elegans. I am passionate about personalized patient care and genetics education and strive to be an empathetic, patient-focused genetic counselor.
