About José Feliciano

I am a strategist, educator, and community development practitioner working with civic‑minded and equity‑focused organizations, groups, and individuals across arts, culture, and education. I currently serve as Director of Grant Programs at Chamber Music America and as the founder and principal consultant of Be Intentive LLC. I also volunteer on the Grant Committee for the American Savings Foundation. From 2017 to 2023, I served on the Board of Directors of INTEMPO, including four years as Board Chair.My experience bridges nonprofit administration, strategy, education, and community development. I have led work in grantmaking and nonprofit operations; public policy and civic engagement; people‑centered and place‑based program design; and leadership development for creative professionals. My education and curriculum design work centers on project‑based learning and supporting learners in applying ideas to real‑world contexts.
