ABOUT FELICIA MONTIFORTE
Felicia has served for fourteen years in the addiction and mental health field, acting daily to create solutions for people seeking help. Her body of experience as a person in long-term recovery, as well as the years spent visiting treatment programs and clinical professionals that share her passion and commitment to the work, has enabled Felicia to successfully facilitate encounters among trusted professionals and those seeking help. Inextricably linked to Felicia’s passion for creating solutions is collaboration with diverse communities she serves in New Orleans, including Tulane School of Social Work, Tulane’s Collegiate Recovery Program, Covenant House, Bridge House/Grace House, and Liberty’s Kitchen and nationally in ARHE (Association of Recovery in Higher Education). Imagine Recovery is the manifestation of Felicia’s dream to bring much needed co-occurring substance use and mental health Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient services to New Orleans. She is proud of what her team has created as Imagine Recovery personifies clinical excellence combined with open-hearted client and family-focused programming. Imagine House NOLA sober living homes for men and women have added another positive dimension to Felicia’s professional life. Yet, it’s the time spent with the residents and community that bring her such joy and connection.
