About Feli di Giorgio

Visual Effects Supervisor / Compositing Supervisor / Creative with more than 20 years experience in high end visual effects for film, streaming and commercials. I have worked on more than 40 feature films, as well as consistent work in commercials, episodical and music videos. In addition to my 2D skills I have a background in CG (3D), practical FX (miniatures), photography and studied traditional character animation at the California Institute of the Arts (CalARTS). I have extensive contacts across the industry and have worked in the USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany and New Zealand.(Fluid in English and German.) I have a passion for travel and valid passport on me at all times. During my tenure in the VFX industry I have worked for such noted companies as Digital Domain, Walt Disney Feature Animation, Sony Imageworks, Method Studios, MPC, Framestore, Apple Inc and many others, serving as a senior artist, supervisor and department head. My work has been recognized with wins and nominations by the VES and Clio Awards. Recently I worked at Apple, Inc as a VFX and colorist for the movie screen sized Retail Store Video Wall, which I helped bring from prototype to deployment. My responsibilities included pipeline and technology development, bidding and scheduling shows, managing outside vendors creating CGI content, Nuke compositor, colorist, advising Apple creatives and producers on VFX, on set supervision and leading a team of artists for in-house content creation. I am a native of New York, NY (USA) and spent an extended period of my youth in Europe. I am fluent in English and German. Of Italian ancestry I was raised in a household of opera singers and developed an interest in the arts at an early age.
