Over the years, I have trained students in various technical aspects of studio, control room, field production, and live streaming. covering various events on campus, students and I have had a professional working relationship with the City of Durham Television Network (DTN) for many years. NCCU TV Studio students & I were crew members working side by side with DTN to record \"CityLife\" in the NCCU TV Studio, and in the field with DTN on the award-winning \"Durham Works\" series. Other highlights: My son Ben Ross, former student Christopher Gloetzel, and I won \"Best in Genre\" for our short \"Feel Free in Carrboro.\" The film was part of the C-47 competition in the 2018 Carrboro Film Festival, and had to be produced from concept to submission during 47 hours. During the summer of 2018, I coordinated tearing down and cleaning out the old NCCU TV Studio, researched equipment, networked, coordinated, and consulted with various professionals and internal and external stakeholders concerning the complete renovation of the NCCU TV Studio, which re-opened in 2019.
