Ms. Florence Fanelli brings over 25 years of combined project / program management and administration experience, and more than 15 years of staff management experience in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. Ms. Fanelli holds a comprehensive understanding of USAID management systems, policies, and internal processes and procedures, having worked within USAID/Tanzania for over seven years and having lived in Tanzania for over 12 years. Ms. Fanelli possesses over seven years designing and managing interventions promoting youth engagement and empowerment to develop economically active youth cadres engaged in the positive development of their communities and country. Additionally, Ms. Fanelli has excellent understanding and practical experience in public health, agriculture, food security (FTF), nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene, digital development and capacity building programming areas including: access to credit/finance for low-income smallholder farmer beneficiaries and village savings groups (SILCs, SACCOs, Women and Youth Farmer’s Groups, etc.). Furthermore, Ms. Fanelli has fiscal and budget experience to include: management of a diverse,$100+ million portfolio, activity budget management ranging from $10-$25 million (programming portfolios and associated financial areas, reporting, pipeline analysis, budgeting, accruals, incremental funding, expenditure analysis, implementing partner budget and procurement requirements, etc.) Given her focus on relationship-building among cross-cultural teams, Ms. Fanelli is exceptionally well-suited to lead and implement programs/ projects from inception to close, manage teams and promote capacity building among employees. Ms. Fanelli has honed her problem-solving ability over the years, collaborating with senior leadership and middle management to find innovative solutions to resolve conflict. Ms. Fanelli is a native English speaker who speaks French fluently and possesses intermediate German and basic Spanish and Kiswahili skills.
