   Maintains current knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and all related Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, as well as Credit Union-specific BSA and Cannabis Banking Policies.• Performs account review functions for identification and monitoring of high-risk accounts, as part of Bank Secrecy Act enhanced due diligence requirements. • Assists in the investigation of potential and actual fraud activity through utilization of the Credit Union’s core and compliance systems when needed. Recommend next steps in accordance with established procedures to control/minimize risk to the Credit Union. • Monitors account activity for suspicious patterns and activity, conduct Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) investigations, high-risk member/account reviews, and recommend when to file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). Prepares Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) within required timeframes for submission to the BSA Officer for review and filing by regulatory deadlines. • Prepares Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) within required timeframes for submission to the BSA Officer for review and filing by regulatory deadlines. • Performs bi-weekly FinCEN 314(a) verifications.• Performs daily OFAC/Watchlist reviews for alerts generated on Credit Union accounts, and periodic updates/reviews of Sanctioned Countries lists.• Assists in the preparation and coordination of independent audits and regulatory examinations, as required.• Performs a variety of functions in support of Credit Union compliance as assigned.• Engages with staff throughout the Credit Union to facilitate the implementation and integration of risk management principles at all levels of the organization.
