ABOUT FEDERICO GONZALEZ

I\'ve spent my career trying to understand how political and regulatory decisions actually get made — and who shapes them.At InfluenceMap, I research how major companies and industry associations engage with climate and environmental policy across the Americas. I was part of the first expansion of InfluenceMap\'s work into Latin America and am now the most experienced analyst covering the Spanish-speaking region, tracking corporate political activity across transport, energy, and adjacent sectors in Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. Before moving to London, I worked inside the Argentine government advising Cabinet-level officials on industrial and innovation policy. The most significant project I led was expanding Argentina\'s Knowledge Economy Law to include the video games and creative digital industries — which meant identifying the legislative opening, building consensus across ministries, and seeing the reform through to enactment. My background sits at the intersection of political analysis, regulatory research, and stakeholder engagement. I\'m comfortable working across very different institutional contexts — government, think tanks, and international advocacy networks — and I\'m used to translating complex political developments into something clear and actionable for the people who need to act on them.Open to public affairs, policy advisory, and strategic communications roles where political intelligence and regulatory expertise matter.
