ABOUT FEDERICO VANETTI
Federico Vanetti is a Partner of Public Law (Advisory). Federico specialises in the area of environmental law, regulatory and real estate (town planning), and assists Italian and foreign clients in these sectors. As being an expert in environmental, planning and building construction matters, he deals with legal proceedings relating to these matters before the Administrative Courts. Currently, he is assisting clients with their real estate development transactions, focusing on environmental aspects (land reclamation, VAS and VIA procedures) as well as planning aspects (program agreements, variations to the planning instruments). He also advises clients on real estate investment, dealing with the valuation of buildings and, in particular, the environmental contest to receive the relevant business licenses in the case of the developments of shopping centres. Finally, he advises manufacturing companies in the administrative processes for the issuance of environmental permits or authorizations, climate change, ESG and circular economy. He received his law degree in 2002 from the University of Milan. He attended a post-degree course in EU Legislation at the University of Milan and a was awarded a masters degree in Administrative law from Just Legal Service in Milan in 2003. He is the author of several articles and publications concerning clean-up procedures, evaluation impact assessment and waste disposal.
