Federico hails from Pisa, where he works remotely for Red Hat as a member of the Telco 5G networking team. As part of his job he contributed new features to a variety of projects in the kubernetes ecosystem, such as the container networking plugins, the SR-IOV operator, OPA gatekeeper, OVN-Kubernetes, more recently MetalLB (and many others).Before that, he has been working for List Spa since receiving his master\'s degree in software engineering (Summa cum Laude) from Pisa University in 2004. He worked for more than 10 years on mission critical distributed systems in the field of finance first as a developer, then in a leader role. He is a (idle) maintaner of Athens, the Go dependency proxy, and an active maintainer of MetalLB.
