ABOUT FEDERICA PICCOLO

I have always been interested in the scientific field and in particular in Mathematics and Statistics, which I had the opportunity to deepen through both my three-year degree in Management Statistics and in the master\'s degree in Decisional Statistical Sciences, both obtained at the La Sapienza University of Rome. Added to this is a predisposition and a passion for the Data Mining, Big Data and Machine Learning fields that I was able to deal with and analyze better during my university career. In fact, they were the topics of my master\'s thesis which saw as its main topic the Recommendation Systems created by an in-depth application of mathematical and statistical models on Netflix data. During my university career I also had a work experience at the consulting firm Atos in which I was able to both practically apply the academic teachings on data analysis and obtain new skills and knowledge in the IT-Telecommunications managerial field. Willpower, tenacity and curiosity have been and are my travel companions who help me overcome any step. Finally, I am open to new opportunities for work learning and knowledge, as well as to foreign transfers.
