Within the implementation of the system of the quarantine boats in response to the COVID-19 emergency: • participation in the recruitment and deployment of legal and protection officers; • provision of technical support and training on protection of migrants and asylum seekers in emergency contexts; • drafting and development of SOPs on protection activities on board and referral mechanisms of vulnerable people; • monitoring and support in the correct use of the operating procedures and tools; • assessment and revision of the needs and protection concerns identified and collected on board.
