ABOUT FEBIYA GRACE KURIAN

As an Associate Software QA Engineer, I am embarking on an exciting journey in the realm of quality assurance. My academic background in Computer Science has equipped me with a solid understanding of software development principles, and I am eager to apply this knowledge to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. I have experience in Software development in JAVA Spring Boot and web technologies such as HTML CSS, JavaScript; built a web application. Moreover, I have hands-on experience in PostgreSQL database and POSTMAN for testing the application. I am passionate about learning and I am committed to developing a meticulous approach to software testing. In my current role, I have gained hands-on experience and knowledge in API testing using POSTMAN, hands-on experience in creating and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs. I am gaining experience in collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. I am familiar myself with testing tools such as Selenium and bug tracking tool Redmine, and I am learning to navigate various testing methodologies, including Agile. This experience is enhancing my analytical skills and attention to detail, which are crucial in identifying potential issues early in the development cycle.I am particularly interested in automated testing and am dedicating time to learn scripting language like Java to build and maintain automated test suites. I believe that automation is key to increasing efficiency and ensuring consistent test coverage, and I am enthusiastic about contributing to this aspect of software quality assurance.My goal is to grow into a proficient QA Engineer who not only identifies defects but also contributes to the overall improvement of software development processes. I am committed to continuous learning and am actively seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge through certifications like ISTQB and by engaging with the software testing community. I am excited about the path ahead and the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the field of software testing.
