I\'m in charge for all IT/OT Operations and Monitoring in Terna, including SCADAs (both centralized and distributed in electric substations): 60 internal resources distributed in 10 different locations all around Italy, 7 organizational units, 12 H24 internal emergency response teams, 1 H24 internal on-site Service Control Room and 1 external Delivery Center. • Monitor infrastructures (including Data Centers and Control Rooms), platforms and applications. • Optimize the scouting of technologies to support monitoring. • Operational and Executive Reporting. • Operate business systems, databases, services and applications, ensuring the expected levels of performance, availability and security. • Ensure all IT Operations. • Configuration, Incident, Problem, Change and Capacity Management. • Manage business continuity infrastructure to support all IT processes of the Electricity Market. • Ensure the technological evolution of the platforms, focusing on virtualization and containerization. • Ensure the scouting of technologies to support IT Operations. • Ensure the upgrade of the process DB relating to remote controls, metering and plant remote signals. • Oversee the operation of the Remote Control and Remote Management System: hardware and software. • Ensure IT Operations support for remote control equipment installed in electric substations. • Disaster Recovery. • Manage the supervision system (NSM), to ensure continuous monitoring and control for all ICT infrastructures and applications.
