About Felipe de Quesada

I am a Material Scientist with a research foundation in optics & diffraction techniques, electrochemistry, and microfabrication processes, with a track-record of peer-reviewed journal articles.At Stanford, I worked at the intersection of ultrafast science, electrochemistry, and photolithography. Across my research projects, I have:(1) designed custom optical spectroscopy setups, implemented automated hardware control and data analysis pipelines with Python, modelled material responses, and conducted diffraction experiments at national laboratory beamlines,(2) devised and assembled custom liquid- and solid-state electrochemical cells, performed electrochemical testing (e.g. CV, EIS) and cell material characterization in-situ using various analytical techniques,(3) developed mask layout designs with CAD layout software, fabricated and tested chip platforms in a quality-controlled environment (e.g. cleanroom) using microfabrication techniques (including photolithography, thin film deposition, wet etching, wafer cutting).I take pride in my communication skills. My multicultural background and flexible communication style allows me to adapt my message to diverse audiences, and consistently deliver clear, accessible explanations to experts and non-specialists alike.
