ABOUT FRANCOIS DAMOURS
Practical Agile Coach helping National Bank undergo a cultural and technological transformation to bring technology and operations closer together in delivering Client value. I am coaching, training and mentoring a variety of teams & stakeholders, growing and building Agile capability in the organization. As an Agile Coach at Cascades; a manufactural driven leader, I coached Scrum Masters, RTEs and Product Owners and focused on resolving various systemic issues creating blottlenecks and frictions in their delivery process. At Bell, I supported the SAFe enterprise transformation and and created many scrum teams as a Scrum Master before coaching Scrum Masters who would take over these teams once a certain level of maturity was obtained. Before I embraced agility, I leaded multiple complex IT projects as a project manager and programs ranging between 1 - 6 M$. My focus has been mainly on security, AI/ML, Big Data and Telecom projects and programs. Prior to my IT consulting career, growing my own business allowed me to perform various roles in the IT; including sales, customer relationship management and IT project management. I obtained hands-on technical experience studying in computer networking and security and then expended my horizons by graduating in Management & Process Engineering. I am proud to have been honored with the Governor General’s Academic Medal for outstanding academic achievement
