ABOUT FRANCISCO CARRATALÁ MEDINA

I am a dedicated and innovative aerospace engineer with a strong passion for the aerospace sector, particularly in spacecraft control systems, flight dynamics, aircraft design, and software development. I have just completed a 6-month internship in Airbus Defense and Space as a Guidance, Navigation and Control engineer studying the performance of the Earth Return Orbiter spacecraft. My academic journey at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia sparked my interest in avionics and control architectures for dynamic systems, which I further developed through active participation in various team projects. During my Erasmus year at Coventry University, I had the opportunity to contribute to the design, software development, and construction of two competitive UAVs, where I held responsibilities in control systems, simulation, and test validations. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team allowed me to enhance my teamwork, leadership, and innovation skills. I also completed an internship as a quality engineer at ITP Aero, where I had the opportunity to further develop my skills in critical analysis and client treatment. Additionally, some tasks included software development, conducting quality audits and reviewing manuals. While pursuing a major in Aerospace Systems and Control at ISAE-Supaero in Toulouse, I conducted a thesis on advanced control techniques for space robotic manipulators. Furthermore, I served as an AOCS engineer at the TOLOSAT student club and as a Control Engineer at Hyperloop Supaero. Do not hesitate to contact for further information.
