ABOUT FIONA BLAKELY
I am focussed on people-centred Operations, in which I aim to build successful teams and organisations by putting people at their centre, and to destabilise the belief that people’s wellbeing and organisational success are antithetical. I am an operations leader and consultant with over fifteen years experience across business and product analysis and project management roles, primarily in consulting contexts, and within a mix of strategy and delivery engagements. Most recently, I have been driving core Talent & Supply Operations activities and strategic initiatives for Thoughtworks Germany, and leading the country\'s Staffing team. My roots are in critical theory & cultural studies, understanding how power relations function in everyday life, and how hegemonic systems exert power over individuals. I find both productive anger and beauty in breaking down binaries, destabilising ideologies that are treated as inevitable, and asking „from whence the question.“
