ABOUT FAZLEEM BAIG

Hi, I’m Fazleem Baig, a Builder of Data-Driven Solutions and AI Enthusiast.I work at the intersection of data quality, analytics, and now GenAI. Over the last few years, I’ve led data quality projects in the public sector and contributed to data governance activities across teams, focusing on data definitions, standards, and readiness. My work spans Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, SQL, and Python, where I build analytics solutions and help improve data reliability across systems. As AI adoption accelerates, I’ve shifted my learning and project work toward GenAI and LLM-based systems. I’m currently developing hands-on projects focused on: • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) • Embedding-based knowledge retrieval • Multi-step LLM workflows • Python-based GenAI applications and APIs • Vector databases (FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone) • LangChain / LangGraph fundamentalsThese projects form a growing portfolio where I apply my data experience to understand how AI systems behave in real scenarios: what breaks, what scales, and how data quality affects LLM reliability. My strengths come from years of working in complex environments: • Leading data quality initiatives across datasets and domains • Contributing to governance work and aligning teams on standards • Building solutions in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Python • Working with large structured/unstructured datasets • Communicating technical concepts in a simple, practical wayI’m continuing to build deeper skills in GenAI system design, prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and LLM-based automation - with the goal of transitioning into roles that combine data + AI.If you’re looking for someone with a strong data foundation, hands-on GenAI learning projects, and a growth mindset, I’m always open to connecting.
