I’m a community connector, lifelong learning advocate, and leadership cheerleader — empowering individuals through non-credit education, philanthropy, and partnership. With 27+ years of experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, I bring strategy, soul, and storytelling to everything I do. Currently, I serve as Director of TMCC’s EPIC Program (Educational Programs Inspiring the Community), where I lead high-impact community education initiatives that help over learners annually grow, explore, and thrive. For Lifelong Learners:• I oversee a vibrant catalog of enrichment classes and workforce certifications designed to meet the evolving needs of our community.• I build partnerships that connect learners to meaningful, affordable upskilling opportunities.• I seek out exceptional instructors and cultivate spaces where people of all backgrounds feel welcome and inspired. For Nonprofits:• I mentor high school students through hands-on philanthropy experiences that teach empathy, grantmaking, and community impact.• As a former nonprofit executive and successful grant writer, I’ve secured millions in funding and continue to support local missions as a collaborative board member and community champion. For Partners:• I’m a bridge-builder — connecting education and workforce, youth and opportunity, mission and action.• Whether I’m launching a Teaching Kitchen, co-creating a Trail Stewardship Certificate, or organizing a 1,400-guest Father-Daughter Ball, I believe in the power of collaboration to create lasting change. At the heart of it all? Mentorship, creativity, and a belief that learning transforms lives. I love nothing more than sparking big ideas with good people. If you’re in the Reno area, let’s grab coffee and take a walk along the Truckee River — I’ll bring the stories, you bring the curiosity!
