ABOUT FAYE RITCHIE
Associate Managing Director and part of a 4-strong team responsible for leading the Sustainable Agricultural Systems business within ADAS. Project and team leadership in agricultural research and multidisciplinary projects, with a focus on applied plant pathology, potato storage and developing solutions that are directly relevant to crop production. Specialist technical knowledge of plant pathogenic fungi and bacteria, specialising in foliar and soil-borne diseases of cereals, oilseed rape and potatoes. Research interests centre on reducing the environmental and financial impact of crop protection strategies through integrated disease management and fungicide resistance management and using alternative experimental designs to understand cropping systems.Obtained the BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection in 2011 and a member of the BASIS Professional Register.
