ABOUT FAYE FAYERMAN
I am an artist, filmmaker, and professor working across experimental film, lens-based art, and large-scale painting. My work weaves observations of the human condition, emphasizing the search for humanness within images of connection and nature found in the liminal spaces between moments of time. I bring a strong interdisciplinary approach to both creative production and collaboration, with experience developing projects for exhibitions, screenings, and institutional contexts. My practice emphasizes visual storytelling, atmosphere, and material sensitivity, bridging contemporary art and cinema.In parallel, I maintain a rigorous teaching practice in visual arts, mentoring emerging artists through concept-driven instruction, technical refinement, and critical dialogue. I am open to directing opportunities, exhibitions, and collaborations that align with experimental, narrative, and visually focused projects.
