I have worked as a Regional community and Wayleave officer since March 2017, I play a key role in the growth of Virgin Media and our network expansion program delivering FTTP to the North East areas. In my current role I am expected to establish presence in the different communities and to hold Community information events (CIEs) the share virgin Medias plans in advance of any works starting and setting the residents, councilor\'s, local authorities and all resident associations’ expectations of what is involved with the works.• Build contacts within the communities.• Represent Virgin media and its brand to ensure our reputation is always put first.• Help and support any resident complaints that may arise during the expansion works.• Help support the wayleave team in gaining access to private roads, footpaths and driveways.• To build strong relationships with virgin Medias build engineers and build partners.• To have full knowledge of the virgin media products and services to enable us to sell to potential customers.• To be involved, organize and provide volunteers to attend local charities for areas within our build.• The ability to work under pressure and to a deadline.• Have strong people skills face to face, over the phone and email.• Have the confidence to deal with a fast pacing roll and deal with change often.
