Nearly every enterprise today trusts machines to run critical parts of their business but very few understand who is accountable when those machines make decisions.I am an IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) professional with close to 15 years of experience across global enterprises, currently working at Wipro at the center of security, risk, audits, and regulatory compliance. I’ve spent my career dealing with the real consequences of technology at scale from audit failures and control gaps to regulatory scrutiny and board-level accountability.Alongside my professional role, I am pursuing an Executive MBA at IIT Madras, where my academic work explores how governance must evolve as artificial intelligence moves through its major eras from rule-based systems to predictive and generative AI, and now to agentic systems that can act and decide autonomously. My research focuses on how organizations can remain auditable, accountable, and trustworthy when decision-making shifts from people to intelligent systems.What drives my work is a single question: How do we design organizations that remain in control as technology becomes more powerful than the people who run it? I am particularly interested in how governance frameworks, decision rights, and board-level oversight must adapt to ensure that advanced digital systems serve business and society responsibly.I enjoy connecting with professionals who care about AI, leadership, and the future of enterprise governance especially those working at the intersection of technology, risk, and accountability.
