ABOUT FAWWAZ UDDIN MOHAMMED
I came to the United States to pursue my Master’s in Computer Science at Illinois Institute of Technology with a vision to grow as a software engineer and make a real impact through technology. My journey began in Hyderabad, India, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Information Technology. Along the way, I discovered my passion for building systems that don’t just work—but scale, perform, and solve real-world challenges. This passion led me to internships at Capital One Delivery Team and Prodapt, where I worked on everything from designing RESTful APIs and full-stack applications to optimizing backend systems with Java Spring Boot and reducing API response times by 40%. Of course, growth hasn’t always been linear. I’ve faced challenges—navigating new technologies and adapting to cultural and academic shifts as an international student—but every obstacle has shaped me into someone who learns quickly, adapts, and delivers results. Today, as a Graduate Student Ambassador at Illinois Tech, I also contribute beyond the classroom by helping students feel supported, informed, and part of a larger community. What excites me now is applying this mix of technical expertise and adaptability to build scalable applications, whether in web, mobile, or AI-driven systems. I’m motivated by solving complex problems and turning ideas into solutions that matter. Top Skills: Java & Spring Boot Full-Stack Development (React, NodeJS, REST APIs) SQL & Database Optimization Flutter (Mobile Development) Machine Learning (Applied AI Solutions)
