Hello! My name is Fatumata Dia and I don’t just have a passion for leadership, diplomacy, and cultural engagement—I’m actively living it. Raised in Queens, NY, I developed proficiency in Arabic & Korean—languages I learned through my immersive study abroad experiences in South Korea, Morocco, and the UAE. Currently pursuing a degree in Political Science (Minors: Arabic & Computer Science) with a 4.0 GPA, I balance rigorous academics with hands-on leadership. As an ROTC cadet on a full scholarship, I’m committed to becoming a first-generation military officer who leads with passion and integrity. At Howard, I’m deeply involved in campus life, holding roles in Howard Model United Nations and the school’s renowned Speech & Debate Team. Outside of University, I’ve interned with Proskauer Rose LLP and help found Project Environment a non- profit Organization focused on Environmental advocacy. I’m actively seeking research intern positions for Fall 2025, with an interest in diplomacy. I\'m always looking to grow through opportunities that can make a real difference.
