I\'m currently the Director of Asset Management at Eversource where my functions include:• Developing strategies to support the Capital Expenditures 1-year and 5-year Plans• Supporting NERC CIP and PRC Compliance driven projects• Working cross-functionally with various business units to lead strategic initiatives in project development, system resiliency, and asset management• Leading the team responsible for NERC FAC-008 requirement R3 implementation and thermal ratings review and development processFor three years, I was a Lead Engineer in Asset Management for Eversource with a primary responsibility of leading a team of engineers, ensuring that the Eversource Business Strategy for transmission and substation assets are optimally developed to provide the highest levels of system reliability at lowest possible costs.In my prior position as Section Manager specializing in business consulting, my primary responsibility included managing a team of engineers. With a background in electrical engineering, I have held a wide variety of responsibilities, most recently including recruiting, training, project assignments, determining goals and objectives, solving complex problems and advancing the department’s tools, processes and work flows to ultimately increase efficiency. I have 10 years of related professional experience providing consulting services to investor owned electric utilities, municipal electric utilities, electric cooperatives, and independent power producers to make decisions backed by business and engineering analysis.I am client-focused in all projects and make sure I am available to my clients and colleagues on every occasion. I have lead many projects to completion; successfully, on time and within budget. I also served as a transmission system and distribution planning engineer. I have experience in generation interconnection procedures, NERC compliance studies, long range planning studies, distribution studies, renewable energy development and siting studies and more. I received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of the District of Columbia, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I went on to receive my Master’s in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.
