About Fathima Thowfeik
As a quality control scientist II apply my PhD in biochemistry and my expertise in cell and gene therapy to ensure the quality and safety of CAR T cell products. I have over 4 years of experience in this role, where I perform molecular and flow cytometry assays, analyze data, and write reports, deviations, SOP etc.I also have a strong background in cell line development in industry setting, tumor microenvironment, immunotherapy, small molecule anti-cancer agents, and drug toxicology. I have contributed to multiple publications in these fields, demonstrating my technical communication, problem-solving, and innovation skills. I enjoy mentoring junior scientists and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance the research and development of novel therapies for cancer.
