ABOUT FATEMEH GOODARZINIA
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (GPA: 3.98/4) and am currently pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology. My research focuses on tissue engineering and biomaterials, with an emphasis on 3D bioprinted, cell-laden hydrogels that mimic native tissue microenvironments.I investigate how engineered scaffold properties and controlled electromagnetic stimulation influence cell viability, proliferation, migration, and mechanotransduction within 3D constructs. I work with various cell types, including endothelial cells, MCF-7, A375 melanoma cells, NIH 3T3 fibroblasts, and HeLa/MagLOV cell lines.My goal is to translate fundamental biomaterials research into impactful applications in regenerative medicine and advanced 3D tissue models.
