Independently packaged hundreds of high titter lentiviral vectors (gene editing reagents for genes including BTK, Dock8, Ube3a.) using ultracentrifugation and tangential flow filtration for gene therapy research projects. The vectors I made were used in several different projects in the lab and also made vectors for other labs in UCLA.Optimized packaging protocols to enhance yield.• Packaged and produced engineered immunomodulatory lentiviral vectors to increase CD8+ T-cell activity against Acute Myeloid Leukemia (cancer vaccine development).• Cultured and maintained CRISPR-modified HEK293T cells for Lenti virus vectors packaging; Assessed titter of the newly made lenti vectors using HT-29 cell line via DDPCR (Droplet Digital PCR)• Served as co-lab manager (inventory oversight, reagent procurement), troubleshooting packaging process issues.
