ABOUT FARZANA MIAH

I am final year law student at the University of Birmingham, with a year in Dubai as part of my degree. I have a keen interest in Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law and Dispute Resolution. I had the pleasure to intern at Hamdan Al Shamsi Lawyers & Legal Consultants, a leading law firm in the UAE during my year abroad. I have also gained experience in IT services, customer support, and hospitality, demonstrating my versatility, adaptability, and communication skills.As an internship trainee, I was actively work with the Corporate and Advisory Department, conducted research and drafted documents to assist the department in its day-to-day activities. I was involved in various projects and tasks, such as reviewing contracts, preparing memos, and analysing legal issues. Having lived in different countries throughout my life has provided me with many benefits, one of them being the ability to fluently speak multiple languages such as Spanish and Bangla. It has also sparked a passion for learning new languages and cultures, and I have participated in a global internship and cross-cultural experience program in Istanbul.
