Working closely with the CTO / COO and CEO my role as director of engineering and product at ApptionLabs is focused on developing and executing the roadmap for R&D and maintenance of existing products through their entire lifecycle. Within this role, I supervise, prioritise, and oversee UX, mobile development, cloud architecture, firmware development, mechanical engineering and more. I also work with our established teams to coordinate factory output, and quality assurance, and lead multi-million-pound projects with third parties. Utilising the skills of my incredible colleagues; I am able to make critical decisions across hardware and software with the clear information provided to me. These decisions contribute to the continued success of the MEATER product line. Including our recent achievement of two Queen\'s awards, our continued rapid growth and our position as market leaders in a booming market. On top of these responsibilities, I also hold the position of GDPR officer and handle product compliance certification for the organisation.
