Responsible for automating, managing, monitoring and troubleshooting Linux infrastructure spanning across both physical and VMware Virtualized environment including administering MySQL/MariaDB Database servers. Responsible for installing CentOS using kickstart, maintenance and patching of hosts through ServiceNow automation. Responding to alerts and working proactively to upkeep the infrastructure. Proactively use ServiceNow tools to automate the infrastructure and to manage daily workload via custom dashboards. • Successfully developed and delivered Automation for patching VMware ESXi Infra using Ansible playbooks. Also looking at integrating the same into Ansible Tower for more visibility and control. • Been actively involved working on Azure hybrid environment and activities include but not limited to provisioning VM’s, assigning storage and networks. • Managing release management and CI/CD pipelines, lifecycles using Git version control using tools like Gitlab and Gerrit. • Responsible for management and deployment of code updates on a weekly basis and working on ad-hoc requests for internal teams using Puppet 6.0. • Responsible for making sure ESXi infra meets security compliance and carry out estate wide patching of hosts using vCenter 6.5/7.0 and vMotion to minimize/negate downtime. Also create Dashboards for the same using ServiceNow dashboards. • Have been actively involved in troubleshooting issues around F5’s and NGINX load balancers which include but not limited to F5 pool creation/deletion, managing VIPS creation. Nginx vHosts creation and updates. • Responsible for producing and updating documents for internal support teams (KB’s and SOP’s). • Carry out investigation of issues related to MySQL replication, setup of primary and standby DBi’s and HA setups. • Have got good understanding of Docker containers and have used the same on job. • Create bespoke bash scripts to extend the functionality in Linux which cater to the business requirements.
