ABOUT FAROOQ KHAN

My interest in engineering came from my passion for mathematics and its application, and collaborative projects. I find fulfilment in solving engineering challenges that leave a lasting legacy and positively impact lives. My goal is to drive a profound transformation in the industry globally, fostering a more inclusive and innovative future.I am interested in all aspects of engineering, with a particular interest in thermofluids. I am always eager to gain new knowledge and learn new skills. Through my experience in construction project management, I have gained skills in project and people leadership and communicating with all teams internal and contractors, and being able to ensure a clear and connected line of communication, which is fundamental to successful project delivery, right first time, and achieving cohesion within the team.Now, regarding the climate change issue. The future is eclectric. The combustion engine and the combustion process has been, is, and will be part of the technologies of the future. It’s not the technology that’s producing the emissions, it’s the fuel. Research needs to be done to create cleaner fuels and optimise the energy generation process. There’s no perfect technology, it needs to be a team effort.Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events, great minds discuss ideas, but the greatest minds act in silence.
