ABOUT FARNAZ MANI

I am a Professional Engineer (P.Eng, Alberta & Saskatchewan) with progressive experience in process engineering, hydraulics, and advanced separation technologies, supporting pipeline, facility, and storage asset integrity risk assessments across the oil & gas and pipeline sectors. I have acted as a lead engineer on pipeline, refinery, and petrochemical projects, contributing to safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs through feasibility, FEED, and detailed engineering phases.Core expertise includes-Process modeling & simulation (UniSim, ProMax, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, AFT Fathom)-Process design & engineering deliverables: PFDs, P & IDs, shutdown keys, control philosophies, heat and material balances, line/equipment sizing, venting, PSV and rupture disk evaluations-Hydraulic modeling of complex pumping systems under steady-state and upset conditions-Quantitative risk evaluation, pressure relief, surge, and overpressure contingency analysis in accordance with API 520/521/526-Project execution across feasibility, FEED, detailed engineering, and closeout phases-Working knowledge of CSA Z662, ASME B31.8S, and CFR Part 192Beyond technical work, I bring strong communication and collaboration skills. I previously served as Vice President of Public Relations with Enbridge Toastmasters, have volunteered with the Edmonton Immigration Service Association since 2009, and worked as a seasonal ski instructor at the Edmonton Ski Club.
