ABOUT FARNAZ ZAMANIAN
Hi, I’m Farnaz, i\'m a Senior Product Designer with 6+ years of experience creating thoughtful, human-centered digital experiences that connect empathy, strategy, and design. My background is rooted in digital product design, communication design and research, where I’ve helped startups and global companies like SumUp translate complex user needs into human-centered, scalable solutions. From building component libraries from scratch to refining high-impact experiences, such as the app’s Home Screen, Profile and settings, and navigation. I’ve learned that mature design doesn’t just solve problems; it creates emotional resonance. But in 2023, my world changed. My mom was diagnosed with end-stage cancer, and I became her caregiver. Watching her navigate the emotional and physical challenges of treatment opened my eyes to something I couldn’t unsee, the gaps in how we define healing. Medicine treated her illness, but little addressed the mind, the anxiety, the fear, or the need for connection. That experience reshaped my purpose. It inspired me to create Her Body, Her Mind a holistic wellness platform for women* in Germany navigating cancer treatment. It’s designed as a safe, educational, and empowering sanctuary bridging Western medicine and Eastern wisdom through integrative practices like Ayurveda, yoga, breath-work, and somatic therapy. My mission is to redefine healing as more than medical treatment and to honor the whole person: to connect body, mind, and soul.As part of SuN program from Berlin Start up Incubator, I’m building a community through social media, storytelling, and workshops — online and in person that bring women* together in shared healing and learning.Beyond my startup, I’m deeply curious about how mindfulness and holistic rituals enhance creativity, resilience, and design thinking. Whether I’m shaping user flows or exploring yoga practice, I’m driven by the same belief: healing and design both begin with deep understanding and compassion.I’m currently open to Product Design opportunities especially in women’s health, wellness, holistic healing, sustainable food, travel or natural skincare. If your team is building products that nurture wellbeing and make a difference, I’d love to connect.
