Representing 100+ industry stakeholders, I engage with MeitY, MoEF & CC, CPCB, DoT, BIS, and TEC to drive industry-friendly policies.Key contributions:1) Represent MAIT in high-level government meetings leading policy discussions.2) Drafted 100+ policy recommendations, influencing key amendments in E-Waste, Battery Waste, Plastic Waste, Paper Packaging, Solid Waste Management, Liquid Waste Management, Ecomark Rules, Circular Economy Papers, Greenwashing Guidelines etc.3) Designed and implemented E-Waste Awareness, Collection & Skilling programs with UNICEF & UNDP, impacting youth and informal recyclers.4) Organized 5+ industry webinars and workshops on sustainability, compliance, and waste management.6) Assisting 20+ MSMEs with EPR compliance and regulatory navigation.7) Engaging with the Government Officials on a regular basis for smooth compliances of the industry are met while also ensuring the EoDB is met. 8) Advocating for enhanced recycling infrastructure and industry-government partnerships for a circular economy.9) Managing PR & Communications to strengthen MAIT’s outreach and policy influence.
