Behzad Faridnia is the President and Chief Innovator of OC Tech Innovations, a California based managed technology services provider he founded in 2017. With a background in computer‑mediated communication, he focuses on delivering integrated technology solutions that help organizations work more efficiently while preparing for future challenges. His all‑inclusive service model provides clients with clear guidance in a rapidly evolving digital landscape, and his vision is centered on expanding access to technology and using innovation to create positive change.Behzad is also deeply engaged in regional education and workforce development. He serves on the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce Enabling and Creative Technologies Committee and is a member of the Orange County Department of Education Career Education and Workforce Development Apprenticeship Steering Committee. Since 2024 OC Tech Innovations has served as an internship and apprenticeship site, giving students hands‑on experience with real‑world technology operations. Behzad participates as a student industry mentor and panelist for roundtable and panel sessions where industry professionals guide students on skills, career pathways and opportunities in technology. Through these partnerships he helps strengthen the connection between education and industry and supports the development of Orange County’s future workforce.Behzad is a licensed California Contractor and FAA Licensed Drone Operator. He is an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs Small Businesses program and takes part in the Small Businesses Voices initiative, empowering small business owners to advocate for supportive policy. He is a certified FEMA disaster volunteer and a member of the Irvine Community Emergency Response Team.Outside his professional work, Behzad is an endurance athlete and amateur videographer. Despite a medical condition that would typically limit aerobic activity, he has completed several challenging events including an Ironman triathlon, a 100 mile running race and an open water swim from Alcatraz to shore. He also volunteers as a Race Guard, providing first aid and support to participants throughout endurance events. His commitment to growth and service is evident in every aspect of his life, and he aims to inspire others to pursue excellence and push beyond perceived limits.
