Project: Key User Interaction Features of EtsyI fulfilled my role as a QA Analyst in learning by testing and ensuring the functionality & user experience on the Etsy web platform. Features were:Heart Icon (Favorite or Wishlist) Functionality: Verified that users were able to heart and un-heart items and sellers, as well as whether hearts properly sync between devices and trigger notifications.Messaging feature: Verifying that the product listings shared flawlessly are not only internally integrated but also verified attachment and thread functionality.Send Product Item (Share): I tested the “share\" product feature also, to be able to send specific products by email, social media, or a link, in doing so we checked the shared product and all details. Responsibilities Test Case Development: Created and maintained comprehensive test cases for key user interaction features, including the Heart Icon (Favorite or Wishlist), Messaging, Product Sharing, and Mobile Optimization functionalities. It ensured alignment with product requirements and user expectations.Bug Identification and Reporting: Identified, documented, and prioritized bugs, collaborating closely with developers to ensure prompt resolution. Used tools like JIRA to manage and track bug reports.Agile Methodology: Actively participated in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile framework, working with cross-functional teams to meet iteration deadlines and ensure continuous delivery.Regression and Smoke Testing: Conducted regression and smoke testing before each release to ensure no new issues were introduced into the existing functionalities.Collaboration with Stakeholders: Worked closely with developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to refine test cases, review designs for testability, and provide feedback during feature development.
