She also served as the first coordinator of the 1st summer Arabic immersion program at UNC-CH, 2012.Dr. Badr is very dedicated to the profession and her students; she was awarded the “Appreciation certificate of dedication”, 2017.Dr. Badr is affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, Concordia College, Campbell University, University of Maryland, Middlebury College, Monterey Institute, STARTALK programs at Queens University and Penn-State University, NCVPS, North Carolina Virtual Public schools, in addition to the American University in Cairo.Dr. Badr is a reviewer at CAEP for accreditation of the Foreign Language programs, 2012-present; in addition, she is a facilitator and an advisor to many nonprofit student organizations.
