ABOUT FARIDA ABJANI

I am the CEO and Co-Founder of Aging Gracefully, a Texas-licensed home health agency dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care that supports the intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual well-being of seniors. A registered nurse with advanced business training, I bring together clinical expertise and strategic leadership to strengthen care delivery and support families as they navigate aging with dignity.My work is deeply rooted in service, leadership, and community impact. One cause especially close to my heart is addressing the emotional well-being of elderly patients and their caregivers—an advocacy shaped by my background in nursing. Recognizing the critical need for preventive and in-home care at the grassroots level, I co-founded Aging Gracefully to ensure seniors receive personalized, respectful care while empowering families with guidance and trust.I am honored to be recognized for leadership in healthcare and philanthropy, including Most Admired CEO by the Houston Business Journal, 10 Women in Business by Forbes and Fortune, and being named among Women We Admire’s Top 50 Women Leaders in Healthcare for 2025 and 2026. Additional recognitions include Event Chair of the Year by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce (2025), Gala Chair Hall of Fame for GHWCC (2024, 2025), Chair of the Symphony League Style Show (2025), Community Champion for Texas Children’s Hospital (2025), and recognition among Houston’s “10 Most Beautiful” by Houston Magazine (2025).Beyond my professional work, I have served as an Ambassador for KnowAutism and a Conversationalist for Table Talk, and I have chaired and co-chaired numerous philanthropic galas including KnowAutism, Pratham, Daya, the Houston Symphony Ball Auction, the Society for the Performing Arts Ball Auction, The Alliance, Ek Disha, Development in Literacy, and the World Chamber of Commerce. I currently serve on the boards of the Rupani Foundation and the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and I am a graduate of the American Leadership Forum (Class 50) and United Way’s Project Blueprint (Class 40).I believe leadership is rooted in empathy, purpose, and service—and I remain committed to building systems of care that uplift individuals, families, and communities.
