ABOUT FARID ASADI

As a research and development engineer at ArcelorMittal, the world\'s leading steel and mining company, I focus on the production processes of steels for electromobility and electric vehicles, mainly using various numerical models. I joined ArcelorMittal (a Fortune Global 500, Forbes & CAC40 company) after completing my post-doctoral research at École National des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC) and Université Gustave Eiffel in Paris on the simulation and formulation of earthen materials for low-carbon constructions.Prior to that, I obtained my Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the Université de Limoges in France, as part of the European Commission Marie Curie Action ITN-ETN ATHOR project, dedicated to the multiscale modeling of the mechanical and thermomechanical behavior of materials, collaborating with 7 academic poles and 8 industrial partners in our consortium. Also, I had a partnership with the ITASCA company for my Ph.D. studies. My goal is to contribute to the innovation and sustainability of the steel industry by developing and applying cutting-edge numerical methods and techniques.
