As a Young Professional – NF- Livelihoods, Health & Social Development at Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), I contribute to the design, implementation, and scaling of non-farm livelihood, enterprise development, and public health strengthening initiatives across Bihar.I support state-level planning, monitoring, and implementation of livelihood, health, and nutrition programs under NRLM, NRETP, BTDP, and in partnership with development organizations such as UNICEF, covering all 38 districts of the state.My work focuses on promoting women-led enterprises and strengthening rural entrepreneurship through implementation of key flagship programs including Start-Up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP), One Stop Facility (OSF), Micro Enterprise Development (MED), and AGEY. I facilitate enterprise development, strengthen market linkages, promote financial inclusion, and build the capacity of community institutions and rural entrepreneurs to ensure sustainable livelihood outcomes.In addition, I actively contribute to strengthening public health systems and community health governance by supporting the activation and monitoring of VHSNC, RKS, and JAS platforms, facilitating Ayushman Bharat enrolment, and strengthening Health Help Desk and Swasth Mitra systems to improve access to healthcare services.My role also includes conducting capacity-building programs, mentoring district and block teams, enabling data-driven monitoring through MIS and digital platforms, and fostering convergence with Health, ICDS, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and district administrations. Through these efforts, I contribute to strengthening last-mile service delivery, improving healthcare access, and enhancing sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural communities.
