Working for Treaty underwriting process, dealing in casualty and property specifically forNorth America businesses with a focus on Canada’s Property & Casualty and Worker’s Compensation. Additionally, I also handle the Property Facultative division of North America which involves:~submission clearance process and entering all the information of the Insured/Cedent in the system.~analysing policy wordings, creating contracts in the Destiny underwriting system, and ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines.~collaborating with the catastrophic modelling team to assess catastrophe risks.~responsible for reading and interpreting signed slip and proceed further with binding the policies in the system for various OBU’s/XL Branch including Ireland, Switzerland, Dubai, France, UK & America’s, and getting all the contracts reviewed by the UW for sign offs.~interacting with the technical accounting team for premium-related queriesand understanding the downstream impacts of underwriting decisions.~assisting regional underwriters in building and maintaining relationships with clients/brokers.
