Developing an innovative initiative - MosquitoAI is dedicated to developing Artificial Intelligence powered systems tailored for various aspects of mosquito anatomy classification and segmentation- Building a comprehensive mosquito (adult and larvae) database through effective communication and collaboration with Mosquito Alert, iNaturalist and GLOBE Observer’s Mosquito Habitat Mapper- Developing multiple end-to-end Deep Learning models including research, design, data preprocessing, training and benchmarking, to extract to categorize diverse facets of mosquito anatomy- Implemented Explainable AI Algorithms for feature analysis of Deep Neural Network models- Leading a team, I am working to deploy our AI models to a hardware called “Mosquito-Trap” - a valuable tool for mosquito surveillance and control, ultimately benefiting communities at risk of mosquito-borne diseases- With teamwork and collaboration, all the AI models are being deployed in our AI dashboards, making them accessible for citizen scientists engaged in mosquito monitoring.
